Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at 4:00 PM until 5:15 PMCentral Daylight Time

When you’re the first person in your family to go to college, it’s helpful to lean on those who have traveled a similar path and can lend extra support along the way. This session will focus on the value of the liberal arts degree, navigating the admissions process, introductions to the Mac first gen college network, and other tidbits on what students and families need to know.

Facilitators:
Aisha Gonzalez, Associate Director of Admissions, Diversity & Inclusion
Sedric McClure, Assistant Dean for College Access, Retention, and Success

At Mac, first generation college students are folks where neither parent has received a bachelor’s degree.
